Ostara
La Déesse Ostara, d'origine germanique, est la Déesse de la fertilité et du réveil de la Nature. Elle pourrait être identifiée à Gaïa. On l'évoque à l'équinoxe de printemps, lors de la fête païenne qui porte son nom.
The Goddess Ostara, from Germany is the Goddess of fertility and of the awakening of Nature. She could be indetntified with Gaïa. We evoke Her at the spring equinox, at the pagan festival that bears Her name.

Le Voyage de Muta // Muta's Journey
Que serait une sorcière digne de ce nom sans son chat, compagnon vif et avisé!
De plus, la déesse-chat Bastet était vénérée dans l'Egypte antique. Elle représentait la joie, la maternité.
Je l'ai pour cela associée à la Déesse-étoile du culte Féri. Elle devient un chat au regard doux et au pelage étoilé.
Le rat est considéré dans de nombreuses cultures comme un animal de l'âme, plein de sagesse et messager des Dieux, je l'ai donc garni d'un arc-en-ciel, qui représente le lien entre les Deux Mondes ( chemin entre ciel et terre).
Ces deux ennemis naturels deviennent complices le temps de cette illustration.
Elle finira probablement déclinée en bijoux, j'aime trop les couleurs!
What would a witch do without her cat, this spirited and wise companion!
Also, the cat Goddess Bastet was revered in ancien Egypt. She represented motherhood and joy.
Therefore I associated Her with the star Goddess Faeri. The result is a blue cat with a soft look and starry fur.
The rat is regarded in many cultures as a soul-charged animal, full of wisdom an messenger of the Gods. So I represented him with a rainbow, making him a bond between the Two Worlds (path between heaven and earth).
These two natural enemies become partners in this illustration .
I'll probably make a series of jewels with it because I like the colors!
