Halloween anyone?

We're not celebrating Halloween here in Belgium, so the idea of do a special drawing never hit me before.
But this little witch just enchanted my pencil so I made one special dedication anyway!

I've got other plans for Halloween, including freebies, so keep an eyes on this place ;-)

Le Kappa (and an Illustration Friday entry)

J'ai découvert cette créature par le biais de Lulu , que je remercie!
Le kappa est considéré comme un génie des eaux, et classé dans le folklore japonais au même titre, entre autres que le Tanuki.  Dans les légendes, elles ont l'apparence de tortues anthropomorphes et sont plutôt maléfiques.
Je ne l'ai pas représentée avec un bec, mais plutôt avec une grande bouche pleine de dents et savourant un concombre.

Kappa is considered as a water spirit, and classified in the japanese folklore alonside with  the Tanuki.
In legends, Kappa is an antropomorphic turtle and rather baleful.
I didn't draw it with a beak but with a large mouth filled with sharp teeth, enjoying a cucumber.
